Jean-Francois Thibeault is our Regional Director for Quebec, and he is based in Montreal.

A registered professional engineer and certified project management professional, Jean-Francois has over 25 years of experience in the construction, engineering and asset management industries.

Jean-Francois has worked as a project manager, portfolio manager, project executive and in other leadership roles as well as for engineering businesses in more than 15 countries. He has an in-depth understanding of contracting delivery models (FIDIC, NEC, CCDC, BNQ, Cost+, professional service) across diverse sectors such as transportation, mines, nuclear, power, oil and gas, and infrastructure.

He possesses extensive claims experience to ICC arbitration standards and across many jurisdictions and he has been frequently retained as an expert in matters of delay, quantum, errors and omissions and standards of care.

He has considerable project oversight, risk identification, project recovery and troubled project turnaround expertise and is highly effective at turning risk into results.

He is an experienced negotiator with strong business acumen and a high level of proficiency in project productivity, financials, cost control and project management information systems.

Jean-Francois is the Quebec Regional Director for the Society of Construction Law, North America and is frequently invited as a speaker, panellist, or trainer for contract management, risk management and project management topics.

He is fluent in French and English and intermediate in Spanish.
