Systech Law is pleased to announce that it is expanding its global network by opening a new branch office in South Yarra, Melbourne, Australia. The new office will primarily meet the strong demand from clients and contractors in Victoria for high quality, competitively priced construction legal services.
As a leading boutique construction law firm, Systech Law is now well placed to provide a full range of legal services to the busy Victorian construction sector - from dispute resolution through to adjudication, arbitration and litigation. We have also seen a resurgence in requirements for non-contentious legal matters including contract advisory, procurement strategy, interim legal support and training.
The Melbourne branch office will be run by Dai Edwards. Dai has been with Systech Law for 8 years and is a dual qualified construction lawyer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He specialises in construction and engineering law and advises on all aspects of projects, from initial procurement and strategic project advice to dispute avoidance and resolution. He has worked in the UK, Middle East, Africa and South Korea, where he was an in-house lawyer for a major Korean EPC contractor, before relocating to Melbourne, Australia, as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans.
Gavin Murphy, Managing Partner of Systech Law Australia, commented,
“I am delighted to welcome Dai as Partner of our new branch office in Melbourne and look forward to working with him to expand our reach and client base in Australia. We feel that at Systech Law we have a unique offering for our clients with internationally experienced, specialist construction lawyers, who are knowledgeable, commercially-minded and competitively priced.”
The Systech Law Melbourne office will be opening on 1st September 2022.
