Systech expands senior management team in Canada
Systech continues its growth in the USA and Canada with the appointment of Lisette England as the Regional Director for West Canada based out of Calgary and Steve Lett as the Commercial Director, Ontario Government Projects based in Toronto.
The appointment of Lisette complements our established Canadian businesses in Ontario and Quebec and provides additional support for Systech’s oil and gas business by joining our Calgary and Texas regions.
Steve will lead our government work in Ontario and provide additional support to our Canadian business across the Americas.
Lisette England, Regional Director for West Canada
Lisette is based in Calgary and has worked in Canada for over 20 years. She will bring her knowledge of the region to support our existing customer relationships and project portfolio.
She has over 35 years’ experience of construction contract management / administration, risk management, procurement scheduling, dispute management/ avoidance and expert advisory services.
Lisette has previously held partner positions in Revay, Siemens and Meme Volens.
She has lectured on contracts and related matters for the MBA program at the University of Calgary and prior to moving to Canada worked in USA, UK, Europe and Asia.
She will be supported in her role by Martin Gough, who has previously worked with Lisette for many years in Calgary and leads Systech’s bespoke risk management offering across the country.
Steve Lett, Commercial Director – Ontario Government Projects
Steve is based in Toronto and will lead our established Government side business which is delivering major infrastructure projects and improvements within Ontario.
Steve has over 30 years experience and he has held Director positions within consultancies and contracting organisations such as Turner and Townsend, HKA, Arabtec, Lend Lease and Mace in the UK, Europe and the MEA.
A proven commercial leader, he has supported owners, contractors, design practices and consultants on a diverse portfolio of projects up to $8.5bn in value.
His experience covers the full project lifetime from developing procurement strategies, setting up integrated pre-construction teams, agreeing contracts and commercial procedures, project governance and managing the resolution of claims and disputes including independent expert determination.
He has a keen interest in innovation and he created a web-based application for real-time cost-value reconciliation. He is the author of technical articles and has presented at the RIBA in London.
