Systech is seeking to hire a Senior Practice Manager for its Expert Services division.

We believe that Systech is a “disruptor” within the construction claims world as we are the only consultancy able to provide a complete single point solution to clients’ needs.

This is a key new role in the business and an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience promoting professional services to law firms in the UK and internationally.

The successful applicant will possess an understanding of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) within the construction industry and has the communication and negotiation skills to secure expert appointments for Systech.

Performance will be assessed based on the individual’s ability to enhance Systech’s brand and generate sales within the expert services field, but it will also include department administration duties.

Responsibilities and duties
Business development and marketing:

  • Promoting Systech’s Experts and selling their services to clients and potential clients
  • Utilise your network of solicitor firms to introduce Systech Expert Services
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to support Systech’s business development initiatives
  • Developing professional relationships with clients or potential clients of Systech to help increase or maintain the level of instructions received from them.
  • Communicating with instructing solicitors and clients by telephone, email or in person, in a professional and timely manner in relation to all aspects of work for Systech
  • Relationship management with partner law firms working on Systech Law joint-venture opportunities
  • Manage and update Systech’s CRM to ensure senior management are up to date on the opportunity pipeline

Administration and management:

  • Department development
  • Diary & department management
  • Allocation of work across Systech expert services
  • Negotiating and agreeing fees for Systech’s Experts
  • Conflict management and avoidance
  • Establishment and ongoing delivery of strategic plan for expert services
  • Compliance
